She was a part of my birth dream team for both of my kiddos, supporting us through each step in the journey - at home, in the hospital, and after the babies were born. She was an advocate for us to the hospital staff, a supporting partner to my husband (showing him different ways to comfort me during labor), and a really helpful resource during the postpartum period, particularly regarding breastfeeding.
