- Meet the Doula - non-committal meeting (usually at a coffee shop) to see if we are a good fit. We chat about our backgrounds, your expectations and priorities for your pregnancy and birth and discuss how I can help you achieve those expectations.
- 2 Prenatal Meetings - I come to your home for more in depth discussions around your birth. We discuss choices to think about, write and review your birth plan, practice comfort measures, and prepare for the postpartum period.
- Ongoing Consultation - Unlimited phone and email support available throughout our entire relationship
- Continuous Support - I offer a calm presence, acupressure, massage and comfort measures, and advocacy for your entire labor and birth (I will meet you at your home or birth place)
- Pictures - I will document your birth and first moments together as a family.
- After birth - 1-3hrs immediate postpartum to make sure everyone is settled and breastfeeding is established.
- Breastfeeding Check and Tuck In - I will meet with you on day 3 in your home to access breastfeeding and help you with the transition to being at home.
- 1 Postpartum visits - 2-3 weeks after birth. During this visit I will provide breastfeeding support, baby care tips, and a chance to discuss your birth experience.
- Sling (Baby-Wearing) Education and demonstration - Learn about the benefits of baby wearing, proper positioning for baby, and differences of the many slings that are out there.
